Chris Cottongim is the Principal in Charge for all projects at the 5253 Design Group. He is involved in every aspect of developing a
project from the initial meetings, to drawing preparation, cost estimating, scheduling, specifications, and contract administration.
Mr. Cottongim has designed, prepared contract documents, and administered contracts for institutional, municipal, educational, office facilities, residential, and commercial projects. Completed projects of these types include facilities of new construction, renovation, and remodeling. His experience includes master planning, site/land planning, programming, space planning, cost estimating, and the preparation of code, technical and feasibility analysis.

Professional Experience:
Anthony Parsons is a registered landscape architect with over eighteen years of experience in construction design and detailing, specification writing, construction bidding and administration and general landscape architectural design. He received a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Kentucky focusing an interest in landscape architectural design, site planning, design and the development of construction documents, and computer aided design software.
Additionally, an architectural intern and holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Kentucky with a focus on Building Construction Technology and Energy Efficiency. During his time practicing, he has participated in every aspect of an architectural practice from Planning and Design, to Federal Grant Administration and implementation, to the business aspect where responsibilities included managing the office, marketing, contract and proposal writing, accounting, and insurance procurement.
